Placement Officer – Mayo Volunteer Centre

Person Specification:
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
A relevant third level qualification
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to work autonomously in Castlebar and/or at locations around Co Mayo when required and to self-manage as necessary.
Commitment to and knowledge of the concept of volunteering and the key responsibilities of the post
Ability to work with and provide support to a wide range of individuals and organisations.
Excellent administration skills and computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and CRM systems.

Knowledge and/or prior
experience in the fields of Marketing/ Communications
A full clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
Ability to work from home.
Awareness of and commitment to Equal Opportunities
This is a full-time position based in our Castlebar outreach office, and involves occasional travel throughout Mayo. Attendance at events/training in other parts of the Country may be necessary from time to time.
