About the Role
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland are seeking an ambitious person with a passion for social change. This role will offer the chance to gain an in-depth understanding of the work of social entrepreneurs in Ireland and direct experience of a range of activities within a not-for-profit organisation.
The Programmes Assistant will play a supporting role within the Impact Team, whose purpose it is to find and support the highest potential social entrepreneurs in Ireland to grow their impact. In this role you will gain a profound understanding of the social entrepreneurship sector and meet with hugely inspiring and interesting people, including SEI Alumni and the hundreds of social entrepreneurs who apply to SEI each year. You will also engage with the organisation’s many supporters: leaders and experts in business, media and the social sector in Ireland and beyond. You will work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team, and will be supported to work in a creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the various selection processes that take place throughout the year. This involves communications with applicants, data management, supporting event organisation, and helping to ensure that the experience of the social entrepreneurs and our wider community is an inspiring and positive one.
Support the delivery of SEI’s programmes, including the organisation of events and trainings.
Work together with Impact team to achieve annual strategic objectives.
Contribute to relevant cross-organisational and special projects as required.
