Senior Commercial Counsel – Law Society Legal

The counsel will be required to provide in-house legal services to Arista’s sales and commercial teams and will focus primarily on:
Negotiating high value commercial agreements, including master customer hardware and software agreements, channel agreements and master services agreements;
Supporting legal colleagues in complex commercial contracts;
Supporting business clients with the negotiation of commercial terms; and
Special legal projects and initiatives.

Criteria:
Be admitted to practice law in the EU (preferably Germany);
Fluency in English, fluency in German highly desirable;
Have a minimum of 12 years’ commercial experience either in a law firm or in-house setting with a proven ability to provide practical solution focused legal advice;
Excellent negotiation skills including first-hand experience of leading negotiations across multiple jurisdictions;
Knowledge of compliance legislation and associated requirements e.g. GDPR;
Knowledge of intellectual property issues;
An ability to maintain positive relationships with counterparts and customers throughout negotiations;
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

Team player with ability to work on their own initiative;
Excellent organization and time management skills deadlines.
