Senior Support Worker
Full time, permanent
39 hours per week
€31,605 – €45,759 per annum FTE (dependent on experience)
The role requires flexibility; shifts include days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and nights.

The successful candidate
will be entitled to additional overnight allowances & premium payments for evenings & weekends including:
Sleepover allowance €86.70
Saturday Premium Rate €10.82
Evening Rate (8pm – 8am) +25%
Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate +100%
To apply for this role you MUST have:
Recognised Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies
Or
Relevant third level qualification at degree level e.g. social work, psychology, nursing and/or allied health.
Or
Post-graduate qualification relevant to the role.
3 years’ experience working in a social care setting.
We would LIKE you to have:
Previous experience of supporting someone with autism
Experience of:
assessment, development and implementation of Person Centered Care / Support Plans
using positive behaviour management strategies
assessing / managing risk
key working and advocacy
Awareness of pathways to support people in education, employment, housing, homelessness, mental health & addiction.
Proficiency in using standard office IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Full, valid driving licence or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.
