Senior Support Workers
Full time, permanent
39 hours per week
€31,605 – €45,759 per annum FTE (dependent on experience)
You will need to be flexible and work on a rolling support planner which includes overnight allowances and payments for evenings & weekends.
To apply for this role you MUST have:
Recognised Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies
Or
Relevant third level qualification at degree level e.g. social work, psychology, nursing and/or allied health.
Or
Post-graduate qualification relevant to the role.
3 years’ experience working in a social care setting.
Full, valid driving licence or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.
We would LIKE you to have:
Previous experience of supporting someone with autism
Experience of:
assessment, development and implementation of person centered care / support plans
using positive behaviour management strategies
assessing / managing risk
key working and advocacy
Awareness of pathways to support people in education, employment, housing, homelessness, mental health & addiction.
Proficiency in using standard office IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The successful candidate will work on a rolling roster which includes additional overnight allowances & premium payments for evenings & weekends including:
Sleepover allowance €86.70
Saturday Premium Rate €10.82
Evening Rate (8pm – 8am) +25%
Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate +100%
