Services offered
We provide counselling and support services for survivors of sexual violence and historical child abuse. We help all our clients heal from the effects of trauma. We also work towards help ending sexual violence in our society through outreach work locally, regionally and nationally.
How we offer services
We offer one-to-one counselling in-person, on-line and by phone, we have a helpline Monday to Friday 10am – 1pm, we do group work, outreach and advocacy, court and Garda accompaniment.
Where we offer services
We cover the North-West and midlands region of Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan. Our headquarters are in Sligo town, and we have bases in Carrick-on-Shannon and Manor Hamilton.
Our service ethos
Our main ethos or value is respect. We treat everyone we meet with respect. We believe that listening to our clients, hearing what they have to say or not say, believing their words and experience as true, is at the centre of what we do. From that position of being there for those who come to us, we can begin to help the healing journey.
