Job description
We currently have openings for healthcare assistants to join our team in the Leopardstown area of South County Dublin. Your role will involve following a behavioural support plan while interacting with our clients, as well as assisting them with activities of daily living.
The ideal candidate will:
be a friendly, reliable and compassionate person who enjoys helping other people;
have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviours;
be familiar with behavioural support plans (BSPs);
be willing to help people with basic daily living activities such as cooking and visiting the toilet;
have a good standard of English and be a strong communicator;
have a valid visa to work in Ireland and international police clearance where applicable;
have their own car and a full driver’s licence.
It would be beneficial (but not necessary) to:
have Social Care or Intellectual Disabilities at QQI Level 5 or above;
have any other relevant qualifications in social care, nursing and similar disciplines;
live in close proximity to the area.
