Social Care Leader – Cuanlee – Dublin

Requirements:
This post will be worked over 4 days between Monday and Saturday. The working hours will vary and flexibility will be required. However the working hours will primarily be between 11am and 7pm. On-call duties will also be part of this post. The on-call will operate on a rota basis between the Manager, Deputy Manager and Social Care Leader. A 10% on-call allowance is payable for any week that on-call duties are undertaken. Premium payments are in operation for unsocial hours.

Professional Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
Third level qualification at degree level in Social Science, Social Care or a related field (minium level 7).
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with women and children that have experienced domestic violence or abuse.
Excellent theoretical and professional knowledge and understanding of domestic violence, its impact on women and children and the theory related to trauma and recovery.
A working knowledge of all legislation related to this field of work (Domestic Violence Act, Childrens First, Child Care Act, Freedom of Information Act etc.)
Comprehensive risk assessment skills as well as knowledge and experience of safety planning and care planning with individuals/families.
