Your new role
As a Social Care Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring that clients can achieve their full potential through supporting them in their day-to-day plans and activities. You will work with a highly-trained multidisciplinary team supporting the needs of your clients and building their confidence, strengths and abilities. You will be responsible for building a constructive relationship with your clients as to develop trust and engage on a level that impacts positively. Your role will be in either day services or residential services.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order be successful in this role, you must have at least a Level 7/8 Degree in Social Care or a related field. In addition to this, you will ideally have experience in working with adults with intellectual disability, in either a residential or day services. You will have excellent communication skills as it is crucial that you can communicate with your clients at all levels. You must also have a full clean drivers’ licence.

Your salary will be guided by the HSE scale and based on the level of experience you have.
