SOCIAL CARE STAFF (PERMANENT)
The Cottage Home Child and Family Services is seeking applicants for a Full Time Permanent Post of Social Care Worker for Residential Service. Also staff required for our Relief panel (see below)
The Cottage Home Child and Family Services is a Voluntary Organisation. We receive funding from Tusla to provide residential care, but remain an autonomous provider
We provide:
Regular, monthly professional supervision.
Salaries are in line with Tusla Pay Scales.
Eligibility to join the HSE Pension Scheme.

On-going training both in house four times per year as well as outside consultation and training
when needed.
Policies that are kept up to date and reflect well the ethos, national standards and delivery of practice within our services.
Rosters that are fixed.
The Cottage Home is a progressive, dynamic, and inclusive organisation. We apply much emphasis to the development and support of our work force. As a result of this support, our turnover of staff is very low and we consider our services to be centres of excellence.
We have two main streams, community based residential services. One is in Ballinteer and one in Bray. Both services cater for four, mixed gender young people aged between 13 and 18 years of age.
Within our centres we promote a culture of non-acceptance of violence and as a result have to date, been able to keep violence towards staff at an extremely low level of occurrence.
Applicants for permanent post must have level 7/8 Social Care Degree plus at least 3 years post qualification experience.
Please Note other qualifications, e.g. Social work, psychology, nursing, in this instance are not acceptable.

All the information above applies to relief staff EXCEPT for candidates are not required to have 3 years post qualification experience.
A Full clean Driving Licence would be preferable.
