Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate must have:
Person centred focused & commitment to support Individuals to have a good life.
Good sense of humour
Excellent communication skills
Flexible, reliable, honest, and innovated
Actively involved in your local community & ability to support the individuals we work with to connect to their community.
Full Clean Drivers licence.
Desirable Experience Required:
Networks and contacts with the local community
Relevant qualification and experience in this area of work
The role will include the following duties:
Working as part of an established team, providing support in achieving an ordinary life with the individuals you will be supporting.
The hours of work will require you to be flexible, mostly Monday – Fridays but will involve some evening hours, weekends, and bank holidays.
An important part of the work will be to increase opportunities for each individual we support, to become valued and contributing member of their local communities.
Exploring new possibilities that will help them to develop their skills and highlight their individual personality, interests, and competencies.
Supporting the individuals with some aspects of their personal care.
Active involvement in the implementation of their individualised plan.
Supporting the individuals to obtain employment as part of their individualised Plan.
