Applicants must demonstrate in their application form that they have experience of:
Engaging and working directly with young people in a paid capacity.
Developing and implementing individual and group-based targeted intervention programmes for young people and their families, using evidence based models of practice.
Developing youth groups and services for young people, through recruitment of young people, programme development, training, face-to-face youth work and other methods.
Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key agencies in the catchment area to enhance the targeted response to young people.
Implementing agreed annual plan, reporting on the work to the relevant stakeholders, and evaluating your work.

Applications should
Have a minimum of two years’ experience of Youth or Community work in a professional capacity.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have a clear understanding of Youth Work and/or Youth Justice Practice and ethos.
Have competency in training, group work and organisational skills.
Have a professional qualification in Youth/Community work, Youth Justice work and/or a directly related field.
Be willing to work unsocial hours and a time off in lieu system.
Have full clean driving license and own transport.
