Youth Worker Role
The Youth Worker will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of youth work programmes to meet the developmental needs of young people deemed to be ‘at risk’.
The Youth Worker will work within a large staff team and will have a role in promoting peer education drugs awareness programmes.
The successful candidate will be required to work various shifts including evening, night and weekend work.
Essential Qualification:
An * NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth Work or Youth and Community Work
Or
Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth work setting and have an equivalent professional Degree level qualification within the Education/Social Science/Youth Work or Community Work field.
