Description
The applicant will ideally have design experience of: Daylight analysis. Preparing technical data for planning stage submissions to An Bord Pleanala. Conduct surveys of sites and existing buildings including buildings of historic interest. Create accurate survey drawings for construction purposes. Design portfolio should be in the context of BIM based workflows. Advanced Revit Architecture. Six months experience working in a full BIM Level 3 working environment. Ability to act as BIM manager in absence of senior architect. Architectural Designer/ BIM Manager/ Project Manager. Apartment Design. Luxury residential design, house extensions, commercial housing, creating interiors for marketing purposes. Revit architecture and cloud rendering technology. Realistic rendered perspectives. Research construction issues. Create technical designs for complex buildings. Building regulations. Bespoke internal joinery. Lighting design.
Skills Requirements
The role of architectural assistant will consist of regular office duties in a small office based in Dublin City centre. Working hours will range from 9:00 to 18:00 with breaks and a flexible schedule at the professional discretion of the applicant, working hours not to exceed the standard statutory working week. Some site visits will be required with transport by public transport or taxi, and safety equipment to be paid for by the employer. The applicant should be very self-motivated.
