We are currently looking for a cad Technician to work in our busy production office. We would like to hear from enthusiastic, well qualified and ambitious professionals who are seeking challenging career opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal an written communication, be meticulous in their work and show attention to detail, have basic engineering concepts, an ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will receive full training in the role including programming training for laser and plasma. Responsibilities Include: Steel Profiling drawings for both laser/plasma programming and complete folding drawings. Verification of final output and checking of drawings. Co-ordination of drawings with the design team. Product Development and improvement. Stock Control. Plasma / Laser scheduling. Understanding the Companys Quality Management System and applying it to all project work. Ensuring that drawings are prepared in line.

Skills Requirements

Skills and experience required – The role requires an understanding of the principles of engineering and design and the ability to prepare drawings. Experience with CAD systems I.E. Autocad, Inventor, etc. Technical qualification in Engineering.
