Description

As CNC Programmer you will work within a team and produce the highest possible quality products. Experience in creating CNC programmes, proficiency in g/m coding, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, operation sheets and manufacturing orders necessary. Ability to operate tool grinder. Main Duties: – Write programs based on 2D drawings. – Set up and run various CNC jobs. – Meet production targets. – Achieve a quality product consistently. – Perform quality control checks on machined parts. – Deburring of finished products. – Provide support to the Machining Supervisor. – Liaise with supervisors and other departments regarding application of manufacturing instructions and quality standards.

Skills Requirements

– Have a minimum of 3 year experience in CNC machining / lathe. Milling would be an added advantage. – Be able to read and write CNC programs . – Set up and run various jobs on CNC milling machines. – Background in precision machining, with experience of machining to tolerances of +/- 0.01 mm. – Excellent numerical skills. – Computer literacy. Personal skills: – Can do attitude. – Ability to work to tight deadlines. – Team player. – Good communication skills. – Problem solving skills.
