Overview: A candidate for this role must hold an appropriate computer science qualification, possess a solid understanding of the principles and theory of programming and have a general interest and passion for software engineering and related technologies. 3 years+ experience in developing solutions using Microsoft .NET (C# and ASP.Net) and XML/XSL (XSLT & xPATH) are key skills for this role. The Application Development Engineer will be part of a key team that design, build and deliver the flag ship products through which we deliver service to our customers. Summary: Celtrino is an Irish software development and services company that was founded in 1989 and has circa 40 employees. The product development side of our business has been growing steadily for some time and we are looking for a confident software engineer to work with our team of experienced developers and help build our products and services.

Skills Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Excellent understanding of XML; Excellent experience of developing, using and applying XSLT to parse and transform XML files. Experience of developing functionality via C# and calling from XSLT; As an experienced .Net (ASP.NET / C#) developer / systems analyst, you will work as part of a team that is responsible for delivering on research and development initiatives and building best practice web based applications.
