Description

We are looking for an ambitious individual with drive and the desire to develop their career. We are interested in candidates with professional experience of working with critical electrical power systems (wind farms, data centres, pharmaceutical or other large industrial plants) or experience of designing and specifying electrical equipment (generators, switchgear and protection equipment, UPS Systems, PFCs, transformers, earthing systems). Responsibilities include: Design covering all aspects of H.V. equipment (switchyard layouts, busbar arrangements, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, etc.) Detailed design of secondary control and protection systems including auxiliary supplies, signal/alarm systems, relays, etc.low voltage supplies and layout. Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation. Tender evaluation and technical management of material delivery.

Skills Requirements

Level 7 or above in technical/electrical Degree (Equivalent experience will be considered) Excellent computer skills including various CAD tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to interpret electrical schematics (both SLD and controls) and specifications Excellent communication skills while working with customers, engineering & internal staff In depth knowledge of LV/MV Electrical systems and control wiring and protection schemes Ability to assist in tender preparations
