Description

Geotechnical Design Engineer required for large Consulting Engineering firm. You will be working with senior Infrastructure engineers and within a Geotechnical engineering team. The main duties will include: Carrying out Geotechnical design on Infrastructure and Building Engineering projects. Monitoring Geotechnical and environmental investigation works in the field and preparing laboratory test schedules. Skills Requirements: Geotechnical numerical modelling skills required; Previous experience of 2D and 3D analysis using PLAXIS or similar software; Use of various software packages for geotechnical and engineering geology design and assessment purposes including FREW and Roc Science.
