The Centre for Effective Services (CES) is now seeking applications for its 2017/2018 Graduate Intern Programme. CES will recruit recently qualified graduates or post-graduates, and provide them with a full time structured training programme. The programme will combine professional and personal development and work experience, over a period of 12 months.
The aim of the programme is to develop a new generation of graduates with specialist experience of implementing evidence informed services, and the translation of evidence into policy and practice to improve outcomes for communities, children and young people in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This includes developing and designing products and resources to support service providers, practitioners and policy-makers to work in an evidence-informed way. The graduate intern will have the potential to work in a wide range of settings, including government departments and service providing agencies and organisations in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The Centre for Effective Services connects policy, practice and research to ensure the implementation of effective services to improve the lives of people across the island of Ireland. We work to influence policy and systems change; champion innovative service design and implementation; and build knowledge, skills and capacity for government departments, organisations, researchers and practitioners. Part of a new generation of intermediary organisations, CES is a not-for-profit organisation that helps communities, children and young people thrive.
If you have a qualification in a relevant area such as social sciences, health sciences, health economics, law or communications and are interested in the programme, please visit our website http://www.effectiveservices.org/about/careers#graduateinternprogramme for more information.
