Description
Main function of the job: To plan, deliver and evaluate training in Information & Communications Technology and job search skills. Duties: Provide training in ICT skills to FETAC Level 5 standard. Provide training in career planning and job search skills. Identify general and specific learning needs and develop clear learning objectives. Design programmes and develop materials to meet learning objectives. Create an atmosphere conducive to learning. Treat all learners with complete respect. Deliver top quality training with support for individual learners learning style preferences and needs. Ensure that learners develop the skills, knowledge & experience required to meet their objectives and pass their assessments. Keep a record of progress against the agreed training plan. Mark assessments. Hold quality assurance meetings with learners. Evaluate training. Participate in internal verification & evaluation of programmes. Programme administration.
Skills Requirements
Equivalent of FETAC Level 6 Train the Trainer plus at least six years practical business/IT experience plus four years experience in training plus experience of administering and marking assessments.
