Job Purpose: Maintain IT systems and operations in multi-site environment, conforming to industry best practices. Duties & Responsibilities: Day to day support of the ICT Infrastructure. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications. Managing support calls from end users via different channels: helpdesk system, email, voicemail, telephone or in person.Daily monitoring of server health and performance, server space, backup jobs and respond to support issues. Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.Daily support of Active Directory, maintenance & management of Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2003 server, Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server. User administration on active directory and Ms Exchange, create & remove users. Administration of Eset Nod32 antivirus, deployment and updates. Application of security updates and patches to server.
Skills Requirements
Administration of Helpdesk, answering users queries, via phone, email and helpdesk. Provide local desk side support and remote support for users throughout the organisation. Troubleshoot Hardware and software issues, with Servers, PCs, Laptops, and Printers. Manage Avaya IP Phones. Create and update procedures on SharePoint. Manage user access on MS Sharepoint. Backups and restore. Security Access ID.
