Description

Working on Rules Package solutions using Open Source Rules Engine (Drools). Working with Java Application Servers (WebSphere or WebLogic) or Open Source Application Servers (i.e. JBoss). Technical ownership of Rules engine development. Interaction with the BA and QA team throughout the development life cycle. Cross project reference point on component based solutions. Creation of technical specifications. Maintain personal knowledge base of design & development best practices. Maintain technical product components documentation. Participating in Architecture design using design patterns. Participating in Quality Improvement initiatives as required. Bug Fixing. Working with the Test Team throughout System Test cycle. Actively participate in SCRUM process.

Skills Requirements

Rules engine development experience ideally with JBoss Drools Rule Engine Developer and Guvnor. At least 5 years experience application development using J2EE, in both Unix and Windows environments. Strong experience using various J2EE development technologies, including. Servlets, EJBs, JMS, JSP, JavaScript, taglibs, CSS and Struts. Experience with Eclipse IDE. Strong experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks. Strong OOP/OOD skills & solid skills implementing Design patterns.
