Role
Depaul is a Learning and Development focused organisation, shortlisted for two awards in the area this year alone. As Learning and Development Coordinator you will be a member of the People and Organisation team and will support the provision of learning and development activities across all parts of the organisation.
The role is designed to promote, support, develop, deliver and track learning and development to all Depaul staff and to build upon organisational capabilities.
2. Key Areas of Responsibility
Delivery and management of identified strategic objectives as specified in Depaul’s Organisational Strategy and the People and Organisation Strategy.
Provide accurate record of learning and development of all staff through use, engagement, stats and attendance records
Liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate training needs analysis to identify learning priorities across the organisation
Co-ordinating, managing and recording of all learning and development completed within the organisation
Design and develop blended learning solutions. Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes.
Partner with internal or external subject matter experts and/or cross departmental project teams as necessary
Administrate, promote, champion and maintain our Learning Management System
Manage relationships with our learning partners
Design, implement and/or support the development and use of learning assessment methodologies and tools in order to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of learning programmes
To facilitate learning and development programmes if there is a requirement
To provide learning support to all staff
To actively promote all learning and development activities.
Providing input into the co-ordination and management of engagement and change initiatives across Depaul
Assist in the initiation of new innovative strategies in learning including blended learning, micro learning, and virtual classroom activities
Partner with other departments to develop strategies around these learning interventions
Assist in ensuring there is a positive learning environment in the organisation
Monitor, analyse and gain insight from the learning analytics we generate
To ensure that learning materials are kept in line with changes in Organisational Policy.
Assist in the development and design of all of our leadership development programmes.
Review our induction programme and put improvements in place
General
In conjunction with your line manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of Depaul.
To participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences, making presentations and other contributions as necessary.
To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal, and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
To ensure that all Depaul policies and procedures are being adhered to, particularly those relating to Health and Safety, Code of Conduct and Confidentiality.
To contribute to the effective implementation of the Organisation’s Equal Opportunities Policy as it affects both the Organisation and its work with service users and staff.
To at all times undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high quality standard of work, and to always work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of Depaul.
Undertake any other duties that may be required which are commensurate with the role.

3. Person Requirements
Education/Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a learning and development role
Relevant qualification or experience developing and working, Learning Management System administration and blended learning
Experience in instructural design and ELearning authoring tools an advantage
Experience facilitating learning in groups
Experience of working with confidential data.
An understanding of the current issues facing homeless people
Skills
