Applications are invited for a permanent appointment(s) as Lecturer (above the bar) in Information and Communication Studies, UCD School of Information and Communication Studies. In particular, applications are welcome from scholars who can contribute to and expand the Schools strengths in research and teaching in information and communication studies. This field is broadly defined as the interplay of people, information, technology and social structures. Therefore, applicants will ideally be researchers with expertise in areas including, but not limited to: communication and media, organisational studies, computer-supported cooperative work, information systems, information design, social computing, digital curation, cultural heritage informatics, data/information ethics, health information, metadata & classification, information retrieval, human-computer interaction, digital archives/libraries, information architecture, information literacy, and other related topics.
