Applications are invited for a permanent appointment as Lecturer (below the bar) in Anglo-Irish Drama, UCD School of English, Drama and Film. The appointed Lecturer will teach in the BA programme in English and in the MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama. Candidates will have expertise in the field of twentieth-century Irish drama, with a doctorate in the area and a research record in the field, as well as, experience of teaching at third level. Willingness to teach in cognate areas in Irish literary studies is also required. The potential to contribute to the teaching of dramatic literature more broadly in the School would be welcomed. Finally, the successful candidate will also be expected to supervise and mentor MA and PhD students. Note: It is envisaged the appointed Lecturer will commence in post on 15 February 2016.
