Role:We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical design draftsperson. This is a full time permanent position. Responsibilities:The applicant will be responsible for general engineering duties such as: Creation and detailing of 2D parts and assemblies. 3D modelling of plastic components and tooling components. Update drawings to reflect production changes. Production of tooling drawings for mould repair and assembly equipment.

Skills Requirements

Third level qualification or proven Industry experience in Engineering design & drafting. A working knowledge of plastic part design, injection moulding and tool design. Ability to use 3D modelling software would be a distinct advantage. Ability to manage time and tasks effectively. Knowledge of document control systems would be an advantage.
