Description

We have an opening in our engineering department for a mechanical design engineer for a one year fixed contract. The Role Completion of 3D CAD Design of new and existing products. Create detailed 2D production drawings. Lead Design Review meetings. Generate accurate Bills of Materials to drive weekly production and purchasing requirements. Reduce current production issues. Create Operators manuals & Spare parts documents. Assist with R&D work. Promote continuous improvement. Assist in creation of production, purchasing & costing systems. Min 2.2 degree in Engineering, (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Agricultural or related discipline). At least 1 years experience of 3D CAD design (preferably Solid works) with ability to output detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with accurate BOMs for cut lists and purchasing.
