Description

The intern will gain practical experience in all areas of running a label from concept to design to production of hats and headpieces. They will also be involved in the day to day running of the business; assisting at trade shows, styling photo shoots and fashion shows. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: hat making, hand blocking, wiring, trimming and finishing hats. Also in book-keeping, customer service and website management. On completion the intern will have attained skills in how to put a collection together, have hat making experience and be able to design and produce hats. Also in dealing with customers and shops, handling complaints, dealing with problems and finding solutions.

Skills Requirements

I would like someone to have basic computer skills, a good level of English, and basic sewing skills. They would need to be able to use a sewing machine. They would also need to be able work with their hands and have a positive attitude, be interested and willing to learn and to have good interpersonal skills and be able to work on their own initiative.
