Description

Research, Design and Development of Seasonal Fashion Horse Rug Collections and product collections; Development of concepts to production and market ready launch; Pattern drafting and grading using Optitex 2D CAD/CAM; Fabric knowledge, and sizing experience; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and understand consumer and customer wants/needs, benchmark competitive products; Evaluate product concepts, designs, and drawings for manufacturability, packaging and material handling; Work on special projects such as custom make ups; Travel as needed domestically and internationally to factories and suppliers

Skills Requirements

Have a degree in a design orientated discipline; Proven equestrian experience; Familiar with Gerber technology ? digital pattern drafting; Experience with Adobe creative suite photoshop and illustrator in particular; Excellent knowledge of Excel; Strong creativity and a sense of passion for product design; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; Effective planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities.
