Role Purpose – The Programmes Development Worker is required to work as part of a staff team implementing objectives and actions set out in the Companys Annual Programme of Work. Duties of the Role – The duties of the Programmes Development Worker are to work as part of the TAP staff team in the identification, development and implementation of pre-development programmes that support clients distanced from the Labour Market to return to education training and employment as set out in TAP?s SICAP Tender. Key duties include: Analyse data emerging from profiling of client needs as well as liaising with guidance staff to establish the nature and type of programmes that best meet client group needs. Research and prepare programme areas for development and funding submissions for current and potential clients, with a focus on SICAP target groups. Create support and facilitate hobby type gateway programmes to stimulate individuals in returning to learning.
Skills Requirements
Qualifications:A minimum of a degree qualification in Education Training, Social Science, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years experience of creating and facilitating learning opportunities in community settings. Knowledge & Expertise: The Programmes Development Worker should be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in the following areas: Thorough knowledge of the QQI and the framework of qualifications. Expertise in the provision of learning on an individual and group basis.
