Programme Manager
A vacancy has arisen for a Programme Manager in All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC). AIIHPC aims to improve palliative care experience on the island of Ireland by enhancing capacity, developing knowledge, promoting learning, influencing policy and shaping practice.
AIIHPC is comprised of a consortium of Health Agencies and Universities in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and is focused on work across palliative care research, education, policy and practice. The Institute’s objective is to improve the patient, family, carer and community experience of palliative care.
The Post
The Programme Manager is a senior post within AIIHPC supporting the AIIHPC Head of Institute in the Institute’s key strategic role within the hospice and palliative care environment across the two jurisdictions (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland) in line with the Institute’s values, aims and objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Institute, the post-holder will focus on the strategic and operational implementation of the Institute’s work programme activities. The Programme Manager will work collaboratively as part of AIIHPC team.
The post is 1.0 WTE Specified Purpose post with a salary of €55,000 – €58,000 per annum pro rata. Salary is calculated based on level of experience.
The post will be filled on a whole-time specified purpose contact basis from 4th April 2016 for
5 years or upon the termination of the Institutes lifespan, whichever comes first.
