Programme Manager – Common Purpose (Ireland) – Dublin

OVERVIEW

Common Purpose (Ireland) Ltd. has a vacancy for a Programme Manager to join its small, friendly team at its head office in city centre Dublin.

About Common Purpose (Ireland) Ltd.

Common Purpose (Ireland) Ltd. is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together people from a wide range of backgrounds to help them become more effective leaders in society.  Our head office is based in Dublin and we also have a satellite office in Cork.

We run a range of leadership development programmes that offer participants the inspiration, knowledge, and connections to help them become more active and engaged in society.  Our programmes provide unique insights into how leaders from all walks of life tackle day-to-day challenges in towns and cities. Participants are able to see at first-hand how different organisations – at a local, national or international level – work together; how their areas of responsibility can overlap and interconnect; and how effective leadership depends on having a broader perspective and better understanding of the people, places and organisations around them.

THE ROLE

The primary focus of this role is business development and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing with knowledge and contacts in the Dublin region. The Programme Manager will be part office based with frequent external meetings and travel within Dublin and surrounding areas.

This role could suit someone with not for profit experience in a fundraising or sales and marketing role or someone with private sector business development experience looking for a career transition into the not-for-profit sector. It offers great opportunities for career progression and promotion for the right person.
