We currently have a vacant position available, in an end-clients company, for a Senior Network Planner.Key responsibilities:Operation of a Network Documentation System incorporating passive network elements. Plan optical fibre paths and produce maps and drawings. Logical Layer definition and modelling. Viability of customer connections based on proximity to certain networks surveys and reports must be carried out. Provide to staff: CAD and mapping support. Ensuring the integrity of the database, As built/PPM acceptance and upload. Esuring the build is going as planned by liaison with third party contractors. Fttx networks to be designed and built. To ensure the NDS is utilized to its full potential, Process improvement and support documentation must be written up. Capacity planning for NDS-maintained duct/fibre/logical/Colo layers. Support for: Sales on large and complex bids, platform analysis. Marketing, Website, presentations, analytics.

Skills Requirements

4- 5 years experience in Telecoms which must be relevant to job specifications. Excellent understanding of inventory management of a data communications network. Computer literacy skills- Proficient in Microsoft applications. Strong administration/documentation background. Desire to work in a busy and thriving office environment. Skills are essential in GIS / CAD software. Fibre & Duct network experience. Qualification/experience in data communications technology/related field.
