AQMetrics is a software company that is rehabilitating and reinventing how financial services companies detect and report risks. AQMetrics works with financial service providers such as broker-dealers, hedge funds, investment advisors to deliver on this vision. We are seeking a team lead for the software engineering team. We are looking for someone to: Lead the development and maintenance of AQMetrics core web application. Responsibilities: Provides design direction for engineering projects. Capable of providing authoritative technical leadership to a team of engineers. Capable of functional area ownership. Works with client groups to determine technical approaches. Initiates projects that apply across multiple modules. Responsible for technical content of design reviews and/or code walk-throughs. Works across functional teams to develop system/unit functional specifications. Mentors engineers in use of sound design principles. Able to fill all technical roles.

Skills Requirements

BSc or Msc in Computer Science from a top university. Experimented with CoffeScript, Less, WebSockets and Node.js. Working knowledge of at least one backend technology like Java with Wicket or Spring as web framework or Ruby on Rails. Worked with both relational and NoSQL databases on Linux environments. Implemented or consumed web technologies like OAuth2 and OpenID. Worked with public (AWS) and private clouds and virtualized infrastructures.
