Our client a trusted test development and delivery provider is looking to hire a Senior level Software Quality Control Tester. Main Objectives and Activities:Test Plan / Acceptance Criteria design and creation;Test Case creation and execution;Defect logging;Providing Estimates for QC Effort detailing breakdown of activities;Project status reporting;On-going automation of manual tests and subsequent integration into automated regression test suites; Collaboration with the development team in creating automated tests earlier in the SDLC; Participates or provides leadership for multiple QC activities;Takes autonomy to react to and provide support to both IT and business teams; Performs and assists with testing, best practice process improvements, or tool support;Contributes to the development of business documentation;Implements improvements to test techniques, projects and audit processes to create efficiencies.

Skills Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and typically 5 to 7 years experience in software quality assurance or programming OR 7-9 years relevant work experience; QC methodologies, industry best practices, software development lifecycle; Experience developing API, Service level, and UI tests with frameworks such as Visual Studio, Coded UI, Selenium, Quick Test Professional, Jmeter, Sahi; Understands the automated frameworks.
