Support Worker Programmes – Dublin Simon Community

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker Programmes whose role is to plan, facilitate, evaluate and review service programmes. Work as part of a team to ensure the provision of accommodation services and physical environment within Dublin Simon operate effectively and consistently to best practice standards and meeting the needs of our service users on a day to day basis.

Core responsibilities of the role include:
To develop and implement an action plan that ensures a consistent group work programme operates the supported housing service.
To research projects to inform the direction of service programmes and to consult with key stakeholders for each project.
Develop and deliver progress programme evaluations, proposals and reports to stakeholders.
To undertake scheduled reviews and audits of service programmes and report to service manager monthly. Compile and maintain statistics related to service programmes.
To develop and facilitate workshops, training and activities that respond to the needs of those who use housing services.
To support and assist the project staff team with the development of service programmes, ensuring that the individual needs of the service users are being addressed.
To work with individual service users and groups of service users to enhance their confidence, self esteem and social connections.
We are looking for an individual with a recognised third level qualification to at least diploma level in a relevant discipline, with at least 2 years previous working experience in a social care setting.
