In this hands-on role working as part of the IT team and supporting the IT Manager to be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure to ensure availability to all systems users across the company. This varied role there will be active involvement with the IT Manager and other department managers on IT projects, new hardware and software technologies to improve the capability and reliability of the IT service provided along with working with the IT Manager to design and manage the implementation of new network infrastructure and services. Performing system checks, verifying availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes along with security monitoring and implementing network security measures to ensure the security and integrity of all company systems and data. Skills Requirements

Related experience within a manufacturing environment, would be desirable. A working knowledge of VMware, Windows technologies: Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory.?XMCSA, MCP and/or CCNA would be desirable. Experience of working with an ERP system along with knowledge of security products. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, fluent verbal and written English, essential. Be proactive and having the ability to work on own initiative.
