Ussher Assistant Professor in Intelligent Systems The School of Computer Science and Statistics seeks to appoint an Ussher Assistant Professor in Intelligent Systems who will be a member of the Discipline of Intelligent Systems and the ADAPT SFI Research Centre. The ADAPT Centre is an established, internationally leading, large scale research centre engaged across the spectrum of Intelligent Systems research. The successful candidate will have vision, a genuine commitment to research-led teaching and a proven research track record in areas such as content analytics (natural languages processing), semantic modelling and artificial intelligence. This research will be part of a broader vision of enabling systems to automatically understand and reason about digital content (text, digital corpora, social media, multimodal interactions) to empower users and facilitate enhanced user interaction. Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science or closely related area.
