As part of Saint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East (formally Carmona Services, Saint Augustine’s School, STEP and City Gate) provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin.

Basic Grade Speech & Language Therapist

(Specified Purpose Contract –  approx. 8 hours per week)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position.

Essential Requirements:

Have a recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Hold a full, clean driver’s license or be in the process of obtaining a full license.
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrate ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team providing services to children and adults with an intellectual disability

Desirable Experience:

Speech and Language experience in the area of intellectual disability.
