Laois Partnership Company the Local Development Company for County Laois funded by the Irish Government and the European Union is seeking to employ a Assistant Co-ordinator to deliver horticulture modules on the Organic Horticulture Local training Initiative based in Laois Offaly ETB Adult Education Centre, Portlaoise. This is a 50-week Programme funded by Longford Westmeath ETB which aims to provide certified training at FETAC Level 5 in Organic Horticulture to long-term unemployed men and women to facilitate their progression into education, employment or self-employment. The successful candidate: Will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a holistic, people-centred approach to development. Must have a qualification in Horticulture or related field at FETAC level 7 or higher. Must have a training qualification and 2 years experience delivering training Will have experience and ability to develop and implement horticulture training modules as set out in the Local Training Specification.
