Description
Responsible for implementing, monitoring, administering and developing all aspects of a Task Based Learning (TBL) academic programme, including the management of the teaching team and their performance. This is a demanding management position carrying a high degree of responsibility Responsibilities: Establish and maintain open communications with staff,clients and management. Maintain accurate staff records. Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of teaching in the school. Review academic policies, curriculum documents and schemes of work ensuring delivery of TBL. Hold regular staff meetings. Recruitment and induction (staff and students). Be familiar with the accreditation bodies guidelines ensuring academic management achieves and maintains these standards. Advise, guide and monitor the delivery of the T.I.E exam. Be responsible for academic resources and equipment. Skills Requirements
Essential Requirements: QQI/ACELS recognised TEFL/TESOL Cert (CELT/CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL). Fluency in English (CEF Level C2/CPE/IELTS 8). have a minimum of 5 years recent and consecutive experience in ELT and can provide documented evidence of CPD in his/her personnel file. Proven competence in academic leadership. Proven people management skills. Desirable Requirements: Able to adapt quickly to change. Effective communicator. Proven competence in administration.
