Applications are invited for a temporary 5 year appointment as Director of the Applied Language Centre, UCD Applied Language Centre. UCD has embarked on an ambitious strategy to extend our position as Ireland s leading global university. This strategy includes a significant expansion of inward and outward student mobility. The development of English language and foreign language competence in our students underpins our ability to deliver on our ambition. This is a significant leadership post and the person appointed will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for the Applied Language Centre (ALC) with a view to maximising its potential in the context of the UCD s Global Engagement objectives. They will manage and be responsible for the entire remit of the ALCs operations.
