Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) is looking for a Education Development Coordinator for maternity cover from June 2017 to February 2018. This is a varied role, offering support to everyone affected by Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus across Ireland.
The position is offered on a full time basis (35 hrs p/week) working from a shared office in the National Resource Centre, Clondalkin. There is also an option to work from a Waterford office if required.
We are seeking someone with experience in education and training settings who carries a passion for facilitating real-life change for those living with the effects of Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. With relevant vocational skills and professional qualifications, you will seek to meet the specific education and training needs of the individuals living with these conditions and those connected to them, including families, carers, friends, and professionals.
This is a challenging role in a charity setting, demands on your capabilities will be tested and we require someone who thrives on overcoming challenging situations with initiative and high levels of self-motivation. You will be fully supported by a hands-on CEO, as well as the wider team of SBHI colleagues who combine to facilitate life-changing work on behalf of everyone affected.
You will need your own car, a clean driving licence, and business insurance cover in order to fulfil this position. Mileage costs are reimbursed for all work-related travel expenses.
