Description

Qualified and experienced TEFL Teachers required for 3 weeks starting 1th July in Spanish Point, Co Clare. Applicants must be enthusiastic, motivated and enjoy working with young people. Teaching hours will be 15 hours per week in the mornings from 9.15am, five days a week (18euro per hour) – monitoring some afternoon/Saturday activities may be available or required. Duties will include provide English language instruction to teenage foreign students of all levels with special focus on spoken and practical language in a fun environment; carry out preparation and correction work; prepare class plans; maintain course records, attendance sheets and provide written progress reports on students if necessary. Display ability to work under own direction and a professional, friendly and lively attitude.

Skills Requirements

Applicant must have ACELS-recognised TEFL qualifications, any third level degree & have a level of TEFL experience – a knowledge of Cambridge exam suite an advantage but not required. Candidates with interest in Irish culture or skills in extra-curricular activities particularly welcome. Applicants must be able to supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
