Description

Full time position available with dynamic specialist subcontractor in Safety at Height. Based in Kells, Co Meath with travel throughout the country as required. Responsible for environmental, health and safety and training practices within the company including carrying out risk assessments and method statements on new projects, management and preparation of all necessary Health and Safety documentation, identify training needs, internal audits, compliance with ISO 9001 and OHSAS Standards. College/University graduate in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Construction Studies/Civil Engineering that included an adequate Health and Safety course module. Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation. Knowledge of technical issues associated with construction. Construction site experience would be beneficial. Safety Professional accreditation (IOSH, NISO etc) or in the process of achieving same is desirable. Knowledge of EHS auditing accreditation would also be beneficial.
