PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The HEI will play an integral role in setting our company’s strategic direction, driving our future growth, positioning our service offering as the leading expert in the field of online safety for children. You will support the CEO in all strategic elements of the business and in achieving key milestones and objectives.
Day to day, you will lead the education team and take responsibility for the continuous development and of our education programmes including the interactive content for school children, their parents, their teachers and other key stakeholders.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the development and delivery and evaluation of online safety education to schools, children and their parents around the country
Manage our data collection and analysis
Oversee the strategy, content and channels for awareness raising initiatives
Coordinate the development of innovative educational offerings
Manage the development and delivery of additional bespoke training
Where appropriate, address media related enquiries and act as spokesperson on issues related to online safety.

Essential
Qualification in a relevant field (e.g. education, data science, cyber safety, online child protection)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Leadership skills, including experience of leading teams
Experience of delivering or managing the delivery of education programmes to a wide variety of audiences including children and parents
Experience in policies affecting social media, messaging and gaming platforms that are most popular with children as well as associated risks and safeguards
Experience in data analysis (e.g. use of Excel formulas and / or scripting)
A collaborative team player who is open to being a member of a high performing management team
Ability to be flexible and adaptable where necessary.
Willingness to travel across Ireland and internationally (funding allowing) – up to 10% of time
Desirable
Experience of online child protection including relevant Irish legislation and policy.
Experience in digital media and marketing
Experience in the not-for-profit sector
Experience dealing with Media queries
Experience in using a CMS to update website content and in managing an outsourcing arrangement for website development
HOURS: 30 hours per week
LOCATION: Flexible but up 2 days/week in Dublin
RENUMERATION: 36K for 30 hours per week
