St. John of God Dublin South East Services provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living personnel supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin.

Instructors – Day Services

(Full Time & Relief Hours Available)

We are currently seeking to employ dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to work as part of a team providing meaningful, person-centred opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities. We have roles for candidates within.

Candidates should have the following:

A Fetac level 6 Qualification e.g. Social Care/Training/Education/Teaching etc
Commitment to the development and delivery of a person centred programme
Experience in developing networks and mainstream opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities
An ability to identify and support opportunities for building people’s natural support networks and social roles
An ability to facilitate, instruct and support service-users in a variety of service and community based programmes
Experience in training for adults such as FETAC is desirable
Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Experience as a job coach or a qualification in this area highly advantageous for one of our roles.
A full clean driving license
