Description
The UCD School of Social Justice seeks to appoint a Lecturer (above the bar) in Equality Studies with expertise in the field of political economy and/or the economics of inequality. The appointed Lecturer will contribute to the School?s graduate and undergraduate programmes. In particular, the successful candidate will be required to: Teach a graduate course in Political Economy/Economics of Inequality; Deliver or contribute to the delivery of interdisciplinary undergraduate modules; Undertake supervision of master?s theses; and provide input to the School?s doctoral research programme. Undertake research, knowledge generation and dissemination of research in the field of political economy and/ or the economics of inequality. Carry out administrative functions relevant to the post. Note: It is envisaged an appointee will commence in post in June 2015; or shortly thereafter. 2013 (2010) Lecturer (above the bar) Salary Scale: 50,807 – 76,936 p.a.
