Description

Applications are invited from motivated and talented individuals for an appointment as a Lecturer (Below the Bar) in the School of Natural Sciences at NUI Galway. The appointment will be associated with the discipline of Zoology, which has active research areas across a wide range of fundamental and applied aspects of zoology, including ecology and evolutionary biology. The discipline contributes to teaching of undergraduate BSc programmes in Zoology, Environmental Science and Marine Science within the School of Natural Sciences.

Skills Requirements

BSc or equivalent in Zoology or related area. Normally, PhD or equivalent in Zoology or related area Experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including formal lecturing. Recent peer-reviewed research publications commensurate with experience. First author or senior author of peer-reviewed research publications in the area of relevance.
